Summer can be rough on our skin. Between the increased sun exposure, hot temperatures and increased humidity, our skin is fighting hard to adapt and maintain a healthy balance. Typically, Summer can put our oil glands into hyperdrive mode making our Winter skin care routine simply too heavy for these months. With this build up of oil and cells we can end up with clogged pores, inflammation, breakouts, sunspots, and patchy rough skin that lacks luster. Sunburns injure the skin further and can make our lines more prominent and promote new sun spots and discoloration.
